June 2017

• We stayed cosy at home as the weather started to cool down. 
• Toby replaced a raised vege bed and we extended the bark chips further creating an area for table and chairs.
• Fox began eating solids! Hurrah.
• We enjoyed having Poppa here for a visit. 

May 2017

• We travelled south to introduce Fox to friends and family. A couple of nights in Alexandra; one with dear friends and their beautiful girls. A day with Grandad Graham.

• A couple of nights at my family home; soaking up all the beauty and familiarity before it was to be packed up. Quality time with Poppa Don and Joh.

• Then on to Gore to spend time with Grandma Ann and Grandad Kevin.

• A night on top of Scroggs Hill with Great Nana and Great Pop, and the extended family.

• Fox began rolling much to his delight.

• Our friends welcomed their sweet baby girl Emma. 

• Gastro hit the house. Poor Mae was miserable. 

April 2017

• We went to Auckland Zoo for the day with Aunty Emma and Uncle Roman.

• Fox really 'woke up' up from those drowsy newborn days. Alert, smiley and happy.

• We got stuck into the backyard. Creating a bark chip area under the clothesline to rectify the mud problem. We got a bit more painting done on the fence too. 

• There was of course some sewing and knitting on the go.

• We spent a most wonderful and magical Easter weekend away at Mathesons Bay, Leigh. A relaxed time in the teeny Plum Tree Cottage. Lots of ocean swims, an Easter Egg Hunt and precious time spent with Mary.

• Mae got a 'big kid' mattress.
